At Hope In Henfield 2008, we are certainly excited about this wonderful opportunity, and we believe that there are many in the village who feel the same way that we do. But if there are still some questions, please check below. If we missed any, just let us now.(thanks)

If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us at
enquiries@hopeinhenfield.org.

Q: What type of work do you need done?
A: We will be doing simply gardening work, painting, general cleanup, shopping, cleaning, clearing, basic ‘DIY’/repairs, etc... and some specific tasks. Your help is appreciated in identifying what needs to be done. Please email suggestions and enquires to enquiries@hopeinhenfield.org .

Q: What do I have to do to volunteer?
A: Hope in Henfield is carried out by people from the local churches because it is a chance to demonstrate their faith simply in social actions. If you belong to a local church, simply email enquiries@hopeinhenfield.org or call the HopeInHenfield Office at 01273 491526... and someone will be in contact with you.

Q: Will I need any special skills?
A: Just a willingness to work and to learn. And yes, there will be supervision.

Q: What about special equipment?
A: Everything that you need will be provided. Just bring yourself and a great attitude.

Q: How much work will there be?
A: We will be using teams to perform small and large tasks. You will not be asked to do work that is beyond your capability... remember this is a voluntary effort.

Q: What about water and food?
A: Through the kindness and generosity of several village organisations and businesses, nourishment will be provided... so you “faint not.”... :)
